Whitehaven Beach

One of the places I went during my "spring break" (it is actually fall here) was the Whitsunday Islands. There are 73 of them but we went to a few. The one where we stayed for three nights was South Mole Island. Again it isn't letting me upload more photos but if you friend me on facebook you can see my other photos

Country Life Weekend

The first weekend in April I went to Toowoomba with the program I came to Australia with. Me and six other girls stayed with a couple who own a bed and breakfast. They had a lot of land I think they said about 6,000 acres.  I would put up more photos but for some reason it isn't working at the moment...

Rugby

Last weekend I went to an NRL(National Rugby League) game. It was the Gold Coast Titans who played a team from New South Wales whose name I can't remember. The Titans won though! The game was fun and I thought it was pretty funny how the referees wear hot pink! They also had fireworks everytime the Titans got a goal which I didn't get a picture of but I caught some of the smoke haha

Surfers Paradise is a popular beach and shopping area on the Gold Coast. It is only a bus ride away from my apartment. There is also a Roxy/Quicksilver surf competition happening on the Gold Coast which has been going on for the past week.

My first week in Australia was spent in Sydney. We stayed in cabins on Narrabeen Lake which is right on the ocean. Here are a few photos from that week!
